Starting Something New

Now that music man sadly is over, I turn my attention to Anne of Greene Gables.
I have mentioned this briefly previously, but not in much detail, as I did not know all of what was happening. My first practice is today from 2-4pm. I am really looking forward to this, as this is my first production with this group. We don't do musicals, so it will be a whole lot different from Pittsfield Players. Also I should have said this when I started, so i'll just say that i'm horrible at writing so if this is bad, i'm just bad. So, now that we got that out of the way, what to talk about now? I know, i'll talk about....

All good things must end

It had to end. my favorite year in the play ended yesterday after the cast party. One last time to see the 40+ other amazing cast members that were there. I won't see any of them until January of 2017, which is awful, unless we have a get together. Although, as I mentioned, there were 2 seniors who would not be joining us next year. I wish they could have stayed in forever! they were so awesome and some of my best friends. one I had gotten back from the cast party, I already was starting to miss them after 5 minutes. I don't know how I'll be able to manage for the next 10 months without seeing them all again;(

But after that, I went to a birthday party for one of my friends for 3+ hours which was SO MUCH FUN! we played games, ate pizza, and had a LOT of ice cream. After we said goodbye, I realized that this was probably the best day of 2016 for me.

Well, stay tuned for the next blog hopefully tomorrow!

That Went Well!

5 Performances down, and what can i say? they were great. so much fun to act and hang out with my best friends. It's sad though, we will be losing 2 seniors, who have been so great throughout the years, None other than our Mayor Shinn, as well as his wife, Eulalie MacKeknie Shinn. they have been great cast members, and they will be greatly missed be all of the cast. So, ending the last play was sad, but he still have one more time to hang out together. The set strike/cast party. This is where we take down the set, clean the building, then have pizza and watch the performance on video. It's so much fun to have one last time together, even though all good things come to an end, where we have to say our goodbyes to everyone. This past year might have been my favorite, and I'm sure that some others thought so as well. Thank you to all the cast members who read this, It was great to act with all of you! I'll miss you guys <3

One More Time

One last time, one last performance. Four down, One to go. Music Man has been a lot of fun so far, and we have one more chance to perfect it. Tonight, Saturday February 20th at 7:30 is when we begin. It's gonna be AWESOME!!!! I'm really looking forward to making this last performance great. But enough of that for now, Time to talk about other things, like the other play I am in, Anne of Green Gables. we had auditions on Friday, February 12th. I thought it went well, and we found out what part(s) we got at 6:29am on February 14th. In fact, i woke my sister up at 6:30am just to tell her what parts i got. like i said (or at least i think i said) i got the parts of the stationmaster, as well as Reverend Allan. Now, I don't know how big those parts are, I will be getting my script soon, but i can't wait to find out. Well, that's all for now.

It's Been a While

Well, it certainly has been a while. so many things, I've lost track of time. So, Myself, as well as some other friends have been in the play "Music Man" in Pittsfield, NH. This is my 5th year in Pittsfield players, and it has been a blast. i play the part of Jacey Squires, the livery stables owner.

I have always loved theater, and my sister and I just Auditioned for parts in "Anne of Green Gables", and I received the parts of the stationmaster, as well as reverend Allan. we have 10 weeks to practice this play before the performances, which is quite a bit longer than Pittsfield, where we only have 5-6 WEEKS to practice, build set, and paint it before the performances. That's CRAZY! as of now (February 16th) the first performance is today at 12:30. I'm so excited!

I hope it goes well, since we did have more time than usual because we only had 1 snow day this year. Anyway, that's all I have for now.
